You’re never too young or too old to enjoy water – and we are here to help you reach your goals. Through private one-on-one lessons or semi-private small group lessons (where you might want to invite another learner), sessions are offered year-round at the comfort of your own pool.

Learn to swim with an expert who has changed the lives of over 3,000 swimmers on two continents.
Christina Williams, Founder of SWIM HAVEN, is bilingual in English and German, which has allowed her to create a strong reputation as an International swim instructor in Germany and Florida.
Having dedicated time to building well-rounded knowledge in the fitness industry as a whole, she amassed fundamentals, certifications and competence, which she extended to her approach in aquatics — making her quickly stand out.
Her calling to work with students of all ages and abilities, inspired her to develop a special trust-building technique. This method lets her effectively assist new swimmers achieve their goals.
But it’s her gentle, caring and loving nature that grants her to bond quickly with children and adults alike; allowing for fast progress, regardless of the student’s comfort level in water.
The results are immediate — Participants will leave the pool with smiles on their faces and having made noticeable progress after each class.

Christian,
Instructor and Lifeguard
A Miami native through and through - Water and the ocean are his passions. He has been swimming with his family in pools and in the Florida Keys since a little child. Christian has been teaching for many years. Besides his American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification he has been trained to work with children in conscious discipline and Montessori skills. He believes that `everyone should learn how to swim in order to enjoy the sun and water I’ve called home all my life safely!
Jackie,
Instructor, Mermaid and Lifeguard
Jackie was born and raised in Germany. She has lived in Hong Kong and Egypt before moving to the US to become a student-athlete. She loves different cultures and speaks German, English, French and Bulgarian. The last 4 years Jackie has lived in New York to finish her Bachelor degree in Exercise Science while being a team member of the Division 1 swim team. In her last year of college she swims competitively at Florida Atlantic University and wants to achieve her MBA in Sport Management. Since both her parents were competitive swimmers and work as professional swim coaches with swimmers from baby age to Olympians, she has been in and around water since she remembers. Jackie started swimming competitively at age 10 and has been to several national championships. She is a true swim addict and has been teaching swimming for over 5 years all ages and levels. She loves teaching other people swimming skills and seeing their progress makes her really happy!
Ariel,
Instructor and Lifeguard
Sports, especially swimming and soccer are his passion. Ariel was born in Ecuador and speaks besides English also Spanish. He has a Bachelor degree in Film and a Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. As an exchange student he didn’t miss the chance to join and and became part of swim team in Germany, where he also learned to speak German fluently. Ariel wants to pursue his dream to become a Paramedic and combine his abilities to work as an Ocean Rescue Lifeguard later on. Currently his main focus is on the medic side, so besides teaching for SWIM HAVEN, he also works for a private ambulance company.
Bianca,
Lifeguard and Scuba Rescue Diver
A true Miami local and current student at the University of Miami. In 2021 she started her lifeguarding career at the University Center Pool and is now a supervisor lifeguard. Besides her passion for water and the ocean her favorite sports activity is being a runner. 2019 Bianca became a certified Scuba Rescue Diver - that’s how her initial water journey and rescue training began. Her experience in lifeguarding ranges from children´s parties to adult gatherings. She loves the water, and of course — safety!
Max,
Instructor and Lifeguard
Maximiliano, born and raised in Santiago, Chile. The last four years he has been part of the Florida Atlantic Swim team, while pursuing a bachelors degree in International Business. His next plan is to get a Masters in Business Analytics, while still swimming for FAU. Max is also a part of the National team for his home country Chile and has been in multiples International meets the past couple of years. He has been teaching swimming for every level since 2017. Maximiliano loves seeing how his students progress and enjoys meeting new people.
Amelia,
Swim & Dive Instructor and Lifeguard
Amelia is born and raised in the UK. She has moved to South Florida to be part of the FAU Swim and Dive team and is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology. Amelia loves the aquatics for as long as she can remember and is also part of Team England for swimming. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and the beaches in South Florida. Amelia has been volunteering and working with swim instructing since she was 15 years old.
Adriana,
Instructor and Lifeguard
The ocean is her big passion. Adriana is originally from Virginia and currently an undergraduate at the University of Miami, working on getting her Bachelors in Marine Affairs. She wants to pursue her future career along side the ocean. Adriana has been competitively swimming since she was eight years old. In her free time she likes to draw and paint. Adriana has been lifeguarding and teaching for the past five years and enjoys to work in and around water.
Matthew,
Instructor and Lifeguard
Originally from Jupiter, FL and has a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Miami. He is currently a second year medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Matthew has always loved being around water and swam competitively for 15 years. He is also an avid runner and competed for the UM cross country and track and field teams as a D1 student-athlete. Matthew has been lifeguarding for the past 3 years.
Melissa,
Lifeguard and Mermaid
Selina,
Swim & Dive Instructor, Lifeguard and Mermaid
Selina is originally from Austria. She is currently a member of the Swim&Dive team at Florida Atlantic University, while pursuing a degree in Business Marketing. Selina always loved being in the water. She started diving when she was only 3 years old and competed at multiple national championships as well as Junior European Championships and Junior World championships. Selina loves teaching people how to swim and dive and has been coaching for 6 years now.
Zenaz,
Instructor, Mermaid and Lifeguard
Zenaz is originally from The Bahamas and that is where she discovered her love for the ocean and water. She enjoys swimming and being active. Zenaz swam competitively in high school and was on the water polo team. She is currently obtaining her Associates Degree at Broward College and wants to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science. Zenaz is an experienced and certified Lifeguard as well as a Swim Instructor. She enjoys her work to teach swimming and water safety, ranging from toddlers to elderly. In her free time, Zenaz loves watching movies, going on adventures and trying new restaurants.
Ollie,
Lifeguard
Originally from Florida but with Brazilian background, Oliver is fluent in English and Portuguese. He has 3 years of lifeguard experience across several different facilities. Oliver is already at his young age a remarkable pilot who’s currently building his flight time for his career in the airline industry. If he isn’t lifeguarding he likes to spend most of his free time enjoying his hobbies such as music, flying, and scuba diving.
